Triple Spray #1A is a highly concentrated low pH pre-soak designed for 2-step automated wash systems where hydroflouric, hydrochloric and sulfuric acids are not desired.  Although it can't be considered a true "safe on polish" #1, when used at proper dilution it has minimal reaction with aluminum.  Effective in cleaning aluminum and road film.
